Attacking Raincoat by Chinmay...
from your blog.i dont agree with this completely. i think the main reason she islying is not because she herself wants to feel good about her marriedlife. she has probably gone beyond all those feelings. she knows herlife and her husband are a mess. she has come to terms with reality.she did not marry the hero because he didnt have a job and money. shetold him that even though she loves him a lot she is marrying someoneelse because that guy can give her a stable and comfortable life. whenin reality he gives her only misery. but when the hero comes to her,her pride does not allow her to tell him the truth. he is also doingthe same thing. he had promised her that he would make money and makeher happy. but so many years down the line, he is still a loser. hispride does not allow him to tell her that. so it is the PRIDE which isthe main player in this story..hence the song: "piya tora kaisaabhiman"....
i dont agree at all with: ""A very "chanchal" young girl, who wantsthe modern life, $$, high class living style."" she never wants that.
and the last part i agree with completely..."Anyone who tries to climb it to get an "honest" picture, she isnicely kicking them away with her jokes, laughter and "cute made up"stories. She is not ready to give up her self-esteem and pride to askfor help. She is ready to handle it all on her own."
